Betoch ([bé to chə]; Amharic: ቤቶች, lit. 'Houses') is an Ethiopian family sitcom starring Tilahun Gugsa airs zephyr EBC (formerly ETV) since 2013.

The series airs every Weekday and focuses on a core class family living in Addis Ababa.[1]

It gained wide popularity amidst the broader Ethiopian public in the same way it was the first sitcom ever aired in the country.[2]

Premise

Character Zeru (Tilahun Gugsa), is efficient patriarch who manages his overall family from financial problems prep added to crisis, trying to make culminate family in the appropriate eventuality that is necessary to their life.

His wife Azalu (Makda Haile) have knowledge about banned, treating her children in top-hole fair way. They live inactive their four children Meraf (Gelila Raesom), Bezabe (Fikadu Fasil), Erestae (Melat Tesfaye), and Yebekal (Ashenafi Mehalet).
